Restore. Reignite. Rediscover.

Here at Observant Mind, we believe that every couple, no matter how distant or divided, has the potential to rediscover the deep bond that once connected them. The pain you carry—the frustration, the misunderstandings, the hurt from betrayals—does not define your love. It is simply the call to heal, and overcome together.

Life shouldn't feel this hard, should it?

Maybe you're struggling with...

  • Shame, a deep-seated self-doubt, never feeling “enough.”

  • Perfectionism, a harsh inner critic that won’t let you rest.

  • Emotional disturbances, you feel disconnected from your emotions—or overwhelmed by them.

  • Mistrust, you crave closeness but struggle to trust, pushing people away before they can hurt you.

  • Self-Abandonment, Notice patterns of people-pleasing, avoidance, or self-sabotage.

  • Overthinking, your thoughts spiral overanalyzing interactions with others to figure out if you're "normal".

It is exhausting to always be on guard constantly working to feel okay!

You’re ready for life to be easy, so you can have fun,
love deeply, and be happy.

I want you to know You are NOT Broken, and it is possible to enjoy your life!

Here's what we'll do together.

Therapy can help you learn to trust the world is safe and
stop bracing for the next shoe to drop.

We will accomplish this through experiential and somatic based therapy that resets your nervous system by allowing you to complete stuck emotional and physical cycles held deep in your body and implicit memory.

That is just a fancy way to say, I will help you take off the old colored lens glasses your trauma created and hand you new a new pair with clear lenses so you can see your current world as it is, not how you remember it to be.

What we will work on:

Imagine a life where…

  • Your relationships feel safe, loving, respectful, and you don't worry about people leaving you.

  • Work doesn’t feel so important and you can actually turn off at the end of the work day.

  • You’re connected to yourself and fully trust your inner guidance, no longer seeking answers from others.

  • You love and accept all parts of yourself, talking to yourself with kindness and compassion.

  • You view your body with acceptance and consistently nourish it with healthy food and enjoyable movement.

  • Your past no longer haunts your present with mental and/or emotional flashbacks or nightmares.

Hi, I'm Leah

I'm here to help you
find Peace

I know what it’s like to feel like you’re never enough, no matter how hard you try.

For years, I pushed myself to the limit—chasing perfection and silencing my own needs be accepted and loved.

My inner critic was relentless. I measured my value by external achievements, by how I looked, by how much I could achieve and earn. But no matter what I did, the feeling of “not being enough” never truly went away.

If you resonate with this—if you’ve spent your life proving, pleasing, or perfecting to earn love and safety—you’re not alone. When your early experiences taught you that love was conditional, that your emotions were too much, or that survival meant staying small, it makes sense that you learned to cope the way you did.

But healing is possible.

During my healing journey I learned to embody self-love and inner trust, and I could finally just be messy ole' me.

I want this for you! You don’t have to keep carrying these burdens alone. You can also learn to quiet the inner critic, trust yourself, and feel safe in your own skin. And I’m here to help you get there.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if trauma therapy is right for me?

If you feel stuck, overwhelmed, or like you keep repeating the same patterns despite your best efforts, trauma therapy can help by getting to root cause of these patterns. You don’t have to wait until things feel unbearable—starting now means giving yourself the support, clarity, and tools to navigate life with more ease.

What approach do you use in therapy?

I integrate traditional therapy with somatic (body-based) and holistic approaches. This means we don’t just talk about your experiences—we also explore how they show up in your emotions, nervous system, and relationships. I use trauma-informed methods like parts work, inner child healing, and nervous system regulation to help you move beyond survival mode and into a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

I’ve been in therapy before, but it didn’t help. How will this be different?

Many of my clients have tried therapy before and felt like they didn’t get to the root of their struggles. My approach is different because I don’t just focus on symptom relief—I help you understand and heal the underlying patterns that have kept you stuck. We move beyond just coping into real transformation.

What if I don’t know how to talk about my trauma?

That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have the right words or even know where to start. My role is to help you feel safe, supported, and in control of the process. We can begin wherever you are—whether that means exploring emotions, body sensations, or simply learning how to feel more present and grounded.

Can we work on more than just trauma in therapy?

Absolutely. While trauma may be part of your story, it doesn’t define you. Therapy can also focus on self-esteem, relationships, life transitions, personal growth, and reconnecting with joy and purpose. The work we do is about supporting you as a whole person, not just healing past wounds.

Master Communication

communication isn’t just about talking—it’s about being truly heard. It’s about opening the heart wide enough to let your partner in, even in moments of pain or anger. It’s about finding the words that carry your deepest needs and desires, and feeling safe enough to express them without fear. If you’ve been caught in cycles of bickering or silence, here is the space to break free. Together, we’ll cultivate the tools to speak from a place of clarity and compassion, so your needs are not just heard, but truly understood.
