How much does therapy cost?

My session rates are $175 per 50 minutes.
I understand that therapy is an investment, and I aim to provide deep, meaningful work that supports lasting change. If you’re curious about working together, I offer a free consultation to help you determine if this is the right fit.

Why don't you take insurance?

I am not a solution focused therapist. Insurance companies expect miracles to happen in 8 sessions, and while someone's baseline functioning can improve in a short period of time I am depth work oriented.

I also know many need to use their insurance benefits in order to afford therapy, which is why I partner with Mentaya to handle the hassle of submitting for out of network reimbursement for you.

How long will I need to stay in therapy?

This depends on your goals, history, and what feels right for you. Everyone's journey is unique but the average person remains in therapy between 6 months - 1 year.

There are obviously outliers that only stay 3 months and those that have been with me for 2+ years.

The couples I see average 3 - 9 months.

Some stay in therapy continuously, some take breaks to enjoy their hard work and then return to process another layer at a later time, and some invent a combination that works for them.

We’ll work together to find a rhythm and length of time that supports your growth without feeling overwhelming.

How often will we meet?

Most clients start with weekly sessions to build momentum and create meaningful shifts. Over time, as you gain tools and confidence, we may move to biweekly or even monthly sessions based on your needs and progress.

If you need to start at a bi-weekly basis for scheduling and/or financial needs, that is fine as well.

We will discuss which option is most supportive for you during the consultation call.

What can I expect in our first session?

Our first session is about understanding where you are and what you need. We’ll talk about your experiences, challenges, and goals, but there’s no pressure to share everything at once. This is a space where you set the pace, and my role is to guide you with curiosity and compassion.

What approach do you use in therapy?

I integrate traditional therapy with somatic (body-based) and holistic approaches. This means we don’t just talk about your experiences—we also explore how they show up in your emotions, nervous system, and relationships. I use trauma-informed methods like parts work, inner child healing, and nervous system regulation to help you move beyond survival mode and into a life that feels authentic and fulfilling.

Do you offer in-person or virtual sessions?

I offer both therapy options.

I see clients in-person at my South Austin office located a 1011 Meredith Dr. Suite 7 Austin, TX 78748.

I provide online therapy for clients across Texas. Virtual sessions allow you to receive support from the comfort of your home while maintaining the same depth and connection as in-person therapy.

If you prefer I hybrid model, we can arrange that as well.

I wholeheartedly believe everyone can benefit from therapy. It is not just for those in a crises.

I find clients who seek therapy for personal growth and discovery, as well as support through major life transitions
have transformative experiences.

I’ve been in therapy before, but it didn’t help. How will this be different?

My approach is different because I don’t just focus on symptom relief—I help you understand and heal the underlying patterns that have kept you stuck. We move beyond just coping into real transformation.
